The Future of Fast: Corvette E-Ray

Who said electric was boring?

Well it doesn't quite break the sound-barrier, but 0-96 km/h in 2.5 seconds based on initial tests makes this the fastest Corvette ever. Combining a high powered 6.2L V8 engine and an e-AWD drive unit, this beast of a machine has up to 655 horsepower. It in theory can go 290km/h but we... recommend not testing that theory.

We'll update this page when we know you can reserve one but for now... join the E-Ray mailing list to be the first to know when reservations are live!

Performance from the ground up. Carbon ceramic brakes and the first AWD driveline on a Corvette make the E-Ray handle like a pro.

With a whole suite of performance monitoring tools at your disposal, you can know how your vehicle is performing in real-time better than ever before.

Sporty Bucket Seats will make you feel like you're in a race car or a jet plane... but they're comfortable too!

70 Years Of Ingenuity And Ambition

Born of one man's dream to make an All-American sports car to rival the awe inspiring European models of the late 1940s and early 1950s. Named after a warship and a race car. Earns both of those names with every iteration... this model deserves them the most.

The Corvette E-Ray is the vehicle the 1964 Chevrolet Electrovair deserved to be but was limited by the technology of the time.

Honed and perfected by masters of their craft, Chevrolet has been tinkering, toiling, and just waiting to release a beauty like this. That dream didn't die with the Electrovair, it just took a backseat to development of technology that could make this possible and here we are with a mega fast, super comfortable, supercar with an awesome Bose sound system... and it's even got a frunk! Welcome to the future. Next stop: hover cars (you think we're joking but GM is actually working on one of those).

Corvette: Amped Up

Equipped with a 1.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, and a 6.2L LT2 V8 Engine, the E-Ray harnesses its own waste energy to pack more oomph into what would already have been a supercar. This is the hybrid vehicle sports car lovers deserve.

This model despite being the most powerful Corvette ever, thanks to the Electric Drive Unit, has a stealth mode for when you don't want to sound like you're driving a V8 Engine (maybe you want to drive it to work at 7 in the morning, maybe you want to get chips from the gas station at 1AM, we don't judge, what matters is the option is there when you don't want to sound like you're driving a monster truck in a car package). We all love the characteristic purrs and vrooms of a supercar but sometimes it would be nice to be a little more quiet.

An 8-speed dual-clutch transmission makes for butter smooth lighting fast shifting that responds exactly how you want, and the first-ever AWD driveline on a Corvette is sure to impress with its dynamic control that monitors its axles and adjusts accordingly. Maybe you don't want to bring it ice fishing but its AWD system will perform spectacularly for a more all-year-round vehicle experience. Now it's always sports car season.
