Built on GM's versatile Ultium platform, the Hummer EV SUV and Pickups are both built on a system meant for the future. This intuitive NCMA modular battery system allows for smaller or larger batteries as needed stacking vertically or horizontally for maximum space utilization and maximum power no matter what vehicle it's put in. Intended to solve a lot of the problems of traditional EV batteries, GM has partnered with LG Energy Solution to get some of the best brains for batteries involved in our transportation future.
